SIBELCO Deutschland supports Westerwald project with clay and ceramic bodies

"Only the panels with the description are still missing and they will be installed during the spring. I am very satisfied with the result, as my garden appears almost the same as I had imagined", commented Christiane Alhäuser in her role as a landscape garden designer for SIBELCO Deutschland. As one of the world's leading mineral companies based in the Westerwald, SIBELCO Deutschland is a co-sponsor of the theme garden in this year's German Federal Garden Show (BUGA 2011).

This project, which is led by the Alhäuser Company, is to create a garden in which the Westerwald clay is impressively shown as the basic raw material of various ceramic products. In addition to the 2 m high wire baskets, seating benches were also filled with raw crushed clays. In another project "Ceramic Worlds" located within the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, the cultural, historical and contemporary significance of ceramics from raw clay to high-tech material in technology and medicine is presented in six areas.
